About Us
David Cooper has been a licensed builder for over 40 years. Early in life he was exposed to the challenges of caring for a special-needs loved one by his parents and grandparents who cared for his aunt for a period of over 60 years. Listening, learning about, and experiencing how the limitations and lack of outside help - in and out of the home - affected families over the years molded an awareness that became Adapt Technologies Inc.

Adapt Technologies was founded in 1989. Since then, it has expertly installed and serviced many hundreds of mobility systems of varying kinds throughout the Great Lakes Region. David finds meeting people with challenged lifestyles - and helping them with their mobility needs - extremely rewarding. Through correctly selecting and installing lift systems, he has allowed countless people to maintain their independence - and at a much lower cost for the families than the need to move to an outside facility.
